Lake Oahe is a 370,000-acre lake located on the Missouri River in Emmons County. By volume, it is the fourth-largest reservoir in the United States. There are 51 recreation areas located along the shoreline and over 1.5 million people visit each year. Species of fish in the reservoir include walleye, northern pike, channel catfish, and smallmouth bass. Gorgeous rolling hills covered in very pretty native prairie grasses provide wonderful scenery.
